Your Daily Routine Check List

Getting Organized:
In your Home and Homeschool

Dear Friends,
How did your routines go yesterday? I want to do a quick review for you, so you are basing your answer on the basic routines.
MORNING ROUTINE:
  • Get dressed to the shoes
  • Swish and Swipe the Bathroom
  • Make Your Bed
  • Check Your Calendar
  • Reboot the Laundry
  • What’s for Dinner?
Each step in the morning routine is important, and it is easy to get off track and distracted. Your mission today is to do all six things before you get distracted.
AFTERNOON ROUTINE:
  • Eat Lunch
  • Clear a Hot Spot
  • Reboot the Laundry
  • Declutter for 15 Minutes
  • Exercise for 15 Minutes
  • Drink Your Water
The afternoon routine gets pushed off until it’s time to start dinner, so today, I want you to do all six parts of the afternoon routine right after lunch.
BEFORE BED ROUTINE:
  • Check Your Calendar
  • Shine the Kitchen Sink
  • Lay Out Your Clothes for Tomorrow
  • Put Things at the Launch Pad
  • Wash Your Face & Brush Your Teeth
  • Go to Bed at a Decent Hour
Start your Before Bed Routine right after dinner. It will help you start off the next day on the right foot.
Use these today and let me know tomorrow how you did!
Yesterday, the boys and I did a quick divide and conquer game and put away the Christmas decorations. Then, I spent some time putting my real estate office stuff away in a large cabinet. I used the 27 Fling Boogie game to help me toss stuff and put stuff away.
You can do the same thing to get your decorations put away. I know some of you wait until New Year’s Day or another day to take down your decorations. It’s really up to you!
Tell me the longest you have left Christmas decorations up. One year, I left my Christmas curtains up until Easter. (smile)
Today’s Zone Mission is to dust the Master Bedroom.
Your Home Blessing for today is to declutter paper and magazines.
My menu plan for Thursday is chicken and salad.
Have a great day!
