Bloggy Giveaways

*****WE HAVE A WINNER……………….
After using the lovely Random Number Generator at www.randon.org, I have a winner for this contest…………………
Commentor #6, Stephanie, you are the winner! I will contact you through your email address.
Thank you! I have enjoyed watching the entries come in this week. No more entries are being accepted for the contest.

This is the week for the Bloggy Giveaways! What a great opportunity for you to enter contests on the internet to win FREE things. I am going to do several giveaways, if I can locate a certain box that I packed up for this event. (Over the week-end, my husband and I moved my bookstore.)
Today’s giveaway would be a great addition to any home with students in grades 2 and up. I am giving away three books. They are, as follows:
  • Vocabulary Builders by Weekly Reader (grades 2-3)
  • Mind Benders: Deductive Thinking Skills (grades 3-6+)
  • State: The Facts (a guide to studying your state) Grades 3 and up

This contest is open to anyone in the 50 United States. I am sorry that I cannot offer this internationally at this time. I have had some recent bad experiences with customs’ fees, and I have had packages retruned at my cost.

You may enter the contest by commenting on this post. I will enable Open Commenting for those of you who do not have blogs. It will make the contest easier for me to administer. I will need a valid email address to contact the winner.

I will pick a winner for this contest at 9:00 pm EST on Saturday, November 1, 2008. I will pick a random number. Depending on the number of entries, I will either draw a number from a hat, or I will use a random number generator.

Thank you Bloggy Giveaways for sponsoring this fun carnival!!!

  1. First comment- YAY! I’m never first b/c we live in AK and everyone gets a 3-4 hour head start on me. My kids aren’t this age group yet, but I’ve been working on preschool with my son so they might help a little! And I can share them with my sister.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. Hi there! We’re only just beginning to get ready to homeschool (my oldest daughter is almost 3), but if you don’t mind I’d love to enter anyway! I’m trying to collect what I can now for the years to come.

  3. These could really help me. I have a 2nd grader & a 6th grader. My 2nd grader is advanced & my 6th grader is behind. These books would work for both of my girls, get a lot of use out of them!

  4. What a wonderful giveaway! These books would be a blessing to my family! Our school is called TUACA-Train Up A Child Academy. I noticed the verse on the top of your home page! cookiecutter72 AT hotmail dot com

  5. My daughter is in college and majoring in childhood development. We are starting to collect items that she can use in her classroom once she graduates… these would be great!!! Actually she has to do lesson plans now and I bet she could use these for that.

  6. My boys would love this. My 3rd grader loves school and work. He will bring math workbooks to do in his free time. He would love more things to challenge his mind
