New Month and a New Zone – Getting Organized

Getting Organized:
In your home and homeschool

Hello! Welcome to a new month and a new zone of the week! It’s May, and for most of us, the weather has warmed up. As we work on our Zone of the Week, let’s think about planting some flowers in our flower beds. I came home from a homeschool conference last night, and my husband had kept the house clean and planted flowers for me. Happy early Mother’s Day! It was a nice surprise. You can take your children to a local gardening store or nursery and let them pick out some flowers to plant for you for Mother’s Day. What better way to make the front of your home than to plant a few spring flowers.
May also means it’s time to think about ending your children’s school year. All of you need a break from the academics, so pick your ending date and start wrapping up your studies for the year. We always start early in August, so we can have an earlier end to the school year. Don’t forget to finish your end of year paper and sort through your books before you add more new books to your collection.

Zone Missions: Entryway
